Classes begin the week of September 18 and will continue for 8 months until May 2024
Free Trial Classes
Grab a spot in our limited Free Trial sessions and experience the exciting world of advanced robotics hands-on! Each student will receive our custom-designed robotics kit, and by end of the class will have made an Arduino based robot all by themselves, with the option to take everything home. Free Trial classes will take place in-person in Mountain View September 2-16. To schedule a visit, click the link below:
What Students Say
I'm proud of my robot because I wasn't expecting to build a robot like this. This is very amazing. I am able to understand how to build it and how everything works. It’s very inspiring. Even if the student has no clue what technology is in the beginning I still recommend this because they learn a whole new area.
Lucas
Student of Genesis Track 2023
I liked Robotics even before, but I really didn’t understand how it worked. I just followed the instructions. Now I can do it on my own and figure out problems by myself. I would definitely recommend Evodyne. Even if you have no interests in robotics it can inspire you to want to create something or to inspire other people to want to create something. Now I understand so much more and I am able to make connections.
Eliana
Student of Genesis Track 2023
I liked Evodyne Robotics. It allows me to use my creativity for making robots which I am interested in. We have been working on a Robotic Dog project.

Anuj Kathail
Interning at Evodyne Robotics has been a really great experience for me. During my time here I have been able to grow both technically and professionally. I developed both a steering system for the evocar using computer vision as well as creating a way for the evodog to balance and move on angled surfaces. Overall, during my time here I have been able to meet many incredible people and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn so much.

I absolutely loved my experience as a summer intern at Evodyne Robotics. I got to choose projects I wanted to work on in both CAD and software. I also got to be the head teacher for the 3D printing course.
Mission San Jose High School, Fremont, CA
My experience as an intern at Evodyne robotics was everything I hoped for. I had the opportunity to choose CAD and programming projects that I both found interesting and fit my skill set. I was also a head instructor of the 3D printing course, which pushed me to understand Fusion 360 at a deeper level. I redesigned the Evo-Dog Quadruped Robot into the larger, more capable Evo-Dog Pro. I also took RoboClaw’s Python motor controller library and converted it into a more usable and intuitive API controller. I then created a spline path finding algorithm and integrated it with Pure-Pursuit to calculate differential drivetrain kinematics for position and orientation in 2D space. I was forced out of my comfort zone, utilizing new software, electronics, and languages to learn more advanced CAD and computer science. I am very grateful for the skills and professional experience Evodyne Robotics has given me, as well as the time I spent with Raghav and my fellow interns

Can We Attend Via Zoom instead of In-Person?
Yes, our Robotics Program is offered and conducted identically over Zoom.
Robotic kits are shipped to you in advance of each new session.
Zoom students see the exact same live instruction and content at the same time as the in-person students.
Our system also allows for day to day flexibility between In-Person and remote, just keep your kit with you.
Some moments from our past and ongoing classes
Q & A
Do we have to commit to the full 8 months?
No! While it is unlikely to happen, you can always pull out early. Payment is monthly, so you can always choose to discontinue at the end of a month.
Do we get to keep the kits and robots?
Yes! All robotic kits, components and supplies delivered as part of the sessions are yours to keep and continue learning with.
What happens if we miss a class?
Every session is recorded in high quality (the same instruction that zoom students see live during the class) and is made available to every student immediately after the class. Using this video the student can do the class from home whenever the time works best.
Additionally, every Saturday from 2pm to 5pm, we have an open labs time where any student can come in-person and do their class using the recorded video, in the presence of the same instructor for full live support.
What if a student is stuck on a task and is falling behind?
We will not let this happen. One hour of every day will be reserved for 1 on 1 with students who are facing any problems understanding a step, or technical issues, or equipment malfunctions and so on. Any student can call in via zoom or be present during this time, or additionally before or after the class to have their issues looked at.
What if my kid is too smart for the rest of the class and gets bored?
"Bored" is a state not allowed in our classes. Whenever a student is visibly finishing tasks early they will immediately get additional challenging tasks to complete while the rest of the students are working on the previous task.
What equipment do we need?
A Mac, Windows, or Linux laptop with administrative rights to install Arduino, Python and other programming tools. If you have a newer Mac or Windows laptop with only USB-C ports, you will need a USB-C to female USB adapter to be able to connect the Arduino to your computer. School issued Chromebooks are not recommended.
Equipment for attending from home?
Besides a computer:
-
Internet Access to download required tools and utilities
-
Ability to use zoom
-
Thats it, everything else will be provided in the mailed kit
