Evodyne Summer Robotics Program - Week 1 Recap (Jun 14- 18)

Updated: Aug 5, 2021

We started off the first week of our Summer Robotics Program with our Elite and Genesis Track Sessions. The Elite Track finished building their Robotic Arm, powered by an Arduino. They also worked with electricity and current, learning how to attach various motors and wires together, and by the end of the week they trained their Robotic Arm perform pick and place tasks.

Meanwhile, those enrolled in Genesis Track, also finished building their advanced robot dog. This session was much more advanced for students because of the large number of motors and building complexity involved.

There will be so many things for students to look forward to for Part 2 of each track. They will be attaching the Raspberry Pi and camera into their robots. So that the robots can do activities on their own, use face detection, and much more!
